The Honors Program at Trinity Christian College
For academically gifted, intellectually curious, and deeply passionate students interested in leadership formation, The Honors Program provides challenge and support through a customized curriculum. As part of The Honors Program, students become leaders on Trinity’s campus, in communities beyond the College, and in their chosen professional and graduate fields.
As an Honors Program student, you have the opportunity to delve into the areas that interest you most, including participating in a seminar of your choosing and conducting collaborative research with a professor in your discipline. Those in The Honors Program also complete courses in Honors English, Philosophy, and Theology. That means each student receives 14 total credits in The Honors Program. Our Honors Program students have presented at national research conferences, participated in the Chicago Humanities Festival, and toured the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center as part of a seminar exploring Holocaust drama.
The program also offers opportunities for mentoring conversations through activities such as excursions to downtown Chicago, Honors teas, and communal meals
You can apply to the program by downloading and completing the application.
