Trinity
Christian College is a four-year, degree-granting institution operating
under a charter granted by the State of Illinois in 1959. Under this charter
the college has approval to award the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of
Social Work, and the Bachelor of Science degrees in appropriate fields.
Trinity
Christian College is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher
Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (312-263-0456).
The College is accredited by the Illinois State Teacher Certification Board
for elementary, secondary, and K-12 specialist certification. The Bachelor of Science
in Nursing program is approved by the Illinois Department of Professional
Regulation and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education

The business program is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business
Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The social work program was granted initial
accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) in October
2005, recognizing its outstanding program.
The
college is approved by the State of Illinois for state scholarships, grants,
and loans. Trinity is approved for all federal educational aid programs,
including the education of veterans under Title 28, U.S. Code; and it is
approved for the education of foreign students by the U.S. Department of
Justice, Immigration, and Naturalization Services.
