The physical education department equips you to embrace and articulate a Christian perspective of physical activity and stewardship of the body that enable lifelong service to God. Your professors view fitness, sports, and leisure from a biblical perspective as it relates to the discipline.

The physical education teacher education program will prepare you to be an excellent teacher and coach. Graduates attain a K-12 teaching specialist certificate through the state of Illinois to teach in elementary and secondary schools.
