Students, before you register for Fall 2013, you need to set-up an academic advising appointment with your faculty advisor. 

Academic advising begins Tuesday, April 2, 2013
and goes until Friday, April 12, 2013.

Student Responsibilities:

    1. Sign-up for a meeting time with your faculty advisor. Your advisor’s name is found in the student portal.
    2. Prepare in advance for the meeting.
  1. Write down any questions you have for your advisor and bring it to your appointment!
  2. Consult the college catalog for program requirements (general education, major and minor).
  3. Contact your advisor to see if the department has a Suggested 4-year plan of study for the major.
    1. Work out a tentative course schedule.
  1. Check the class schedule online for days and times of classes
  2. Pick classes for general education, major and minor.
  3. Select a few back-up courses in case a course you want is closed.
    1. Arrive on time to your advising appointment. This is a professional courtesy.
    2. Confirm which day you can begin to register for interim and spring.
