Thanks for taking the time to visit our Web site. I graduated from Trinity in 2005 with a degree in Business Marketing. By God's grace I have been given a chance to tell other students about my experience at Trinity and show my support in making a decision that is right for each person. Transferring to a different college can be a difficult undertaking. I hope that you and I can work together to make this process as smooth as possible.
I was involved with many aspects of Trinity and am always willing to talk to you about them. I was on the soccer team, choir member, student association representative, West Hall and Tibstra Hall V.P., front desk worker, snackshop worker, cafeteria worker, and even powderpuff coach. I encourage you to get involved with the school you attend because I feel it is the best way to meet new people and make a difference, big or small.
God has done amazing things on our campus, and I am eager to see what He will do for you during your time at Trinity. I encourage you to visit the College during one of our scheduled visit days for students and parents. Whether it is a Transfer Evening, Parent Visit Day, or Destination Trinity, come and see if Trinity is the place for you.
Thanks again for your time and consideration of Trinity. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or write me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!
What are
your hobbies or outside interests?
My hobbies and outside interests include playing and watching sports of whatever type (especially tennis), hanging out with family and friends, doing anything outdoors no matter the season, such as: rollerblading, biking, tossing a football around, wakeboarding, etc.
What made
you decide to become an admissions counselor?
My decision to become an admissions counselor was based on the simple truth that I love to talk to people and I enjoyed my 4 years at Trinity. This type job has allowed me the benefit of talking to others and telling them about Trinity and what a great college it was for me, and can be for others. It has also given me the opportunity to find out more about myself and what I want to do with my life. It has challenged me in many areas of my life, especially spiritually.
What do
you do on your day off?
On my days off I like to spend time hanging out with my friends, doing whatever comes to our mind. Living near Chicago definitely has its benefits when we can go to fun places and events, such as: Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Grant Park, the beach, concerts, or a Cubs/White Sox game.although I am neither a Cubs or White Sox fan, but a Milwaukee Brewers fan. Anyone who knows me understands how much I love my Wisconsin sports teams since I grew up there.
What are
your favorite foods?
My favorite foods are any type of chicken or burgers, all kinds of fruit, salads, and my Grandma's cookies.
What was
your major?
My major was Business with a concentration in Marketing. I loved the thought of coming up with new ideas of how to present material to an audience and capture their attention. I worked for a Sales company for a few months before becoming an Admissions Counselor and Trinity definitely prepared me for the real world. My Professors made the classes fun but also challenged me to think on my own. Having Professors who cared about my success and growing more as a Christian was really important to me.
Who is your
favorite musical artist/group? From what genre of music?
I have a few favorite types of musical artists/groups. I am a fan of alternative music and music that you can just sit around and relax to, but not elevator music. Some of those artists are Eliot Morris, Eric Hutchinson, Lifehouse, Howie Day, The Fray, and many more.
