When people think about giving to Trinity Christian College, they often think in terms of monetary gifts. But there are multitudes of ways to support the College—and some of them are more tax-efficient than cash donations.
The Barnabas Foundation, which provides quality planned giving and estate planning services, can help donors support Trinity by facilitating gifts of stock, real estate, business interests, farm commodities, life insurance, or tangible personal property. The appreciation on these gifts is not subject to capital gains tax, benefitting both donors and the College.
Currently, Trinity holds the title to four burial plots in Lemont, Illinois, in Mount Vernon Memorial Estates. A friend of the College transferred these assets, located in Block One of the cemetery’s Garden of Devotion, to the College as a charitable donation, and they are available for purchase.
