As shown in the video above, Phase One of the Trinity Athletics and Recreation Complex building project is well underway. Thanks to many of our friends and alumni, this first step is also completely funded! Funding for Phase Two of the project continues during the Phase One building process. Construction on Phase Two will begin after the completion of Phase One in order to maintain continuous use of the complex.
This next step will include a remodeling of the existing Mitchell Memorial Gymnasium, built in 1969. More space will also be added on the west end of the building to extend the structure to 27,200 square feet. This space will house the following:
- State-of-the-art fitness center
- Three new academic classrooms
- Additional storage areas
- Remodeled locker rooms for visiting teams and fitness center users
- New, welcoming campus entrance
Your help to make this project a reality is greatly appreciated! Will you please help fund Phase Two in order to provide Trinity students with the space and equipment they need to be physically active on campus?
