Head Coach
Tim Walker - 708.239.4782

Coach Tim Walker has been the head basketball coach for five seasons and has a 65-86 career record. In the 2004-05 season he became the first coach in Trinity’s history to lead a team to a conference tournament championship and to a NAIA national championship. Walker has also earned NCCAA region and IBCA Coach of the Year honors. Last season he took the Trolls to a 9-18 finish with a 3-7 conference record. 

Walker graduated from Cedarville University (OH) with a bachelor's degree in finance. He earned his master's of sport science in coaching at the United States Sports Academy (AL). Before coming to Trinity, he served as an assistant coach at Calvin College (MI) and at Cedarville University. 

Walker is an instructor in the physical education department at the College. He resides in Oak Forest, Illinois with his wife, Alison, and children, Emily, Grant, and T.J.   

Assistant Coach
Kevin Lubbers '01 has assisted the program for the past three seasons. Prior to that he played for the Trolls for three season (1998-2001). During his time as a student-athlete he excelled on the court and in the classroom, earning scholar-athlete honors. Lubbers spent one season coaching a Maranatha High School in Pasdena (CA). 

Lubbers earned a degree in psychology from Trinity and a master's degree in school counseling and guidance from Lewis University (IL). He is a guidance counselor at Hinsdale South High School (IL). He lives in Palos Heights with his wife, Anne.

Student Assistants  
Jake DeMaster ’08 is helping the men’s basketball program as a student assistant. He is not a stranger to Trinity athletics as he played junior varsity basketball and soccer in his freshman year. He also was a four year basketball and soccer player at Sheboygan Country Christian High School (WI).

DeMaster is a pre-med student, pursing a degree in biology from Trinity. On campus he is the Student Association President and a student manager of the dining hall. He is married to Jodi and is the son of Ron and Shelba DeMaster of Oostburg, Wisconsin.
 

Keith Gabrielse ’09 is gaining coaching experience as a student assistant. He was a part of the basketball program as a junior varsity player in the 2005-06 season. Gabrielse also played four years of high school basketball at Ontario Christian High School (CA).
 
Gabrielse is working toward a degree in business at Trinity. He is the son of Bernie and Carol Gabrielse of Chino, California.
