Tevepaugh
Joins the Baseball Team (7/20/05)
The baseball
team adds another player to the incoming roster as Ryan Tevepaugh has committed
to play baseball for the 2005-06 season. Tevepaugh will fill a spot in
the infield for the Trolls as he has experience at the shortstop position.
Tevepaugh, son
of Randy and Denise Tevepaugh, is transferring from Muskingum College (Ohio)
where he played baseball on their junior varsity team last season. As a
2004 graduate of Kenston High School (Ohio), he was a four-year varsity
starter and earned all-league, all-district, and all-state honors in baseball.
In addition he was the starting quarterback for the football team and set
the school passing record.
Coach Matt Schans
is pleased that Ryan made the decision to transfer to Trinity. "He brings
tremendous defense and overall athletic ability to our infield. With his
talent and positive work ethic, he will develop nicely in the next three
seasons at Trinity."
