Track and Field Team Adds Megan Van Hofwegen (1/03/06)
In an area where the women's track team has always been wanting, they add a quality sprinter as Megan Van Hofwegen (Tolleson, Arizona) signed a letter of intent to run track at Trinity. Megan is a true sprinter, competing in the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter dashes at Phoenix Christian High School.  

For the past three seasons Megan has been a state finalist in the 400 meter, finishing in fourth place in the 2005. In addition last season she advanced to the state finals in the 100 meter (fifth place) and 200 meter (sixth place). She is highly competitive in all three sprint events, posting personal best times of 13.47 in the 100m, 27.67 in the 200m, and 61.21 in the 400m.

Megan is the daughter of David and Janet Van Hofwegen and is the third of her family to attend Trinity, following her brother, Jason, and sister, Kay.
