Twin brothers Joshua and Joseph Muzuma helped guide a pair of relay teams to school records and top five finishes in the Chicagoland Indoor Championships hosted by the University of Chicago. Trinity scored 10 points in the meet to finish in 13th place.

The Muzuma's were joined by Mike Burr and Andy Jellema to start off the meet with a 3rd-place finish in the distance medley relay. The foursome ran 10:53.65 to shatter the previous school mark by almost 40 seconds. The two Muzuma's, along with Burr and Sam Mahtani, wrapped up the meet by placing 5th in the 4 x 400 meter relay in a school record time of 3:37.96.

Joseph Muzuma added to his fine day by running 53.62 in the 400 meter and setting another school mark. Joshua Muzuma just missed a top-eight finish by coming in 9th in the 800 meter in 2:01.40.

Other top-15 finishes came from Mahtani in the long and Jellema in the 3,000 meter. Mahtani ended in 13th-place with a leap of 19-0, while Jellema came in 14th with a time of 9:20.48.
