Men’s Soccer Defeats Wabash College  (9/12/07)
The Trolls got back to the .500 mark with a 4-1 win at Wabash College (IN). The team scored two goals in each half to take the decisive win. They are now 4-4 for the season.

The Trolls took control of the game when
Ryan Clemens scored on a pass from Levi Wondeyee just 11 minutes into the game. Midway through the period the team made it 2-0 when Clemens struck again. This time senior Doug Andrews is the one who fed him the ball. Just before the half ended Wabash put in a goal to make it 2-1.

The team came out in the second half with the same energy and intensity they opened the game with. Within the first 12 minutes Andrews connected on a pass from Wondeyee for the team’s third goal. The Trolls kept Wabash at a distance for the remainder of the half.  Then with four minutes left in the game they added the final goal. It was Jon Laack who scored with assists by Eric Vanden Berg and Esteban Rodriguez.

The Trolls’ next game is on Monday, September 17, at home against Moody Bible Institute at 7:30 pm.
