Track and Field Completes Indoor Season   (3/7/09)
The track and field teams had one more opportunity to compete in an indoor venue at the Gill Last Chance Meet at Carthage College (WI). Although no team standings were kept, many Trinity athletes achieved personal bests for the season.
 
On the women’s side Melissa Voss finished 4^th in the 400 meter with a personal best of 1:03.23. Also setting an individual mark was Laura Simpson (2:41.00) in the 800 meter. Ashley Biesboer increased her throw in the shot put with a distance of 10.79m.
 
For the men, Josh Seegert set a school record in the 5000m (17:26.24), improving on the previous record by over a minute. The Trolls also put together their best 4 x 400 meter relay performance of the season. Scott Hankes, Tony Patrick, Joey Lerner, and Bolaji Adeoti finished in 4^th place with time of 3:38.45.
 
The Trolls will begin their outdoor season on March 15 at Wabash College (IN).
