Baseball To Compete in CCAC Tournament  (4/28/08)
The baseball team will participate in the CCAC Tournament hosted by Purdue University-North Central on May 1-2. The No. 6 Trolls will face No. 3 Purdue-North Central at 10:00 am on Thursday in their first game of the double-elimination tournament.
 
The top six teams of the conference standings advance to post-season play. The top two teams, the University of St. Francis and Saint Xavier University, automatically move on to the NAIA regional tournament, while the 3^rd- 6^th place teams compete in the conference tournament to determine the third team to advance to regionals. Along with Trinity and Purdue-North Central, No. 4 Olivet Nazarene and No. 5 Judson University will be competing in the CCAC tournament.
 
Tournament Schedule:
Thursday, May 1
Game 1 - 10:00 am - Purdue-North Central vs Trinity (at Purdue-North Central)
Game 2 - 10:00 am – Olivet Nazarene vs Judson (at nearby alternate site)
Game 3 - 1:30 pm – Winners of Games 1 and 2
Game 4 - 1:30 pm – Losers of Games 1 and 2
   (PNC will play on their home field at 3 pm; Trinity will play at the alternate site at 3 pm)
 
Friday, May 2
Game 5 - 10:00 am –  Loser of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4
Game 6 - 45 minutes after Game 5 – Winner of Game 5 vs Winner of Game 3
 
Saturday, May 3
If necessary game – 12:00 pm
