What is SCEC?
Student
Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC)
is
a Trinity Christian College student organization affiliated with the Council
for Exceptional Children (CEC).
CEC
is an international, nonprofit organization that has promoted the causes
for children with exceptionalities, their parents, and their teachers since
1992.
SCEC
members work to help individuals with exceptionalities and stay educated
concerning current special education issues. Members of SCEC
meet regularly to plan various activities and volunteer opportunities within
the community.
Who can join?
The Trinity Christian College
chapter of SCEC is open to all students in
the teacher certification program and others who want to learn about individuals
with exceptionalities and special education.
Why join?
