Chaplain by Chapel WindowsThe campus ministry department of Trinity Christian College seeks to open up space in which all students, faculty, and staff are free to flourish in their ongoing spiritual development.

The ministry activities listed below are designed and implemented by a Student Ministry Leadership Team, under the supervision of the College Chaplain. This leadership team meets weekly with the Chaplain to review ministry activities, and to encourage one another in prayer and by mutual accountability.

The Chaplain's Office is located in the Ozinga Chapel. Everyone is welcome to just drop by unannounced. If you'd like to set up an appointment with Pastor Bill, you can either phone x4880 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We invite you to join us in any of the regularly scheduled activities and programs described here. And we would love to hear from you about further ministry ideas and opportunities that would help us better serve the diverse community that is Trinity Christian College.

Acting on Aids

With the support of World Vision, students have formed a broad network of Acting on AIDS groups on college campuses, including Trinity. Together, our mission is to create a student movement, bringing necessary attention to the AIDS pandemic and all of the injustices that both feed it and result from it. Acting on AIDS emphasizes that the fight against disease, poverty, and injustice is a journey toward understanding the life and message of Christ. Increased awareness of these global challenges results in our action against injustice, which is rooted in our relationship to God.

For a schedule of this year's activities and the contact information for this year's student leaders, please contact Joanna Wigboldy (ext 4874) in the Chapel Office.

Chapel

Click here for the upcoming chapel schedule.

Chapel is a twice weekly gathering on Trinity's campus that draws together the students, faculty and staff for a time of community worship. Chapels are diverse in their style and topic, allowing for a broad range of worshipful expression, including song, scripture, speaking, praying, praise dance and more. As part of the larger learning endeavor at Trinity, from time to time chapel will be designed and led entirely by students, and students will regularly offer leadership in chapel services

Chapel at Trinity Christian College is voluntary. Students, staff, and faculty are invited to take leave from their normal day to day activities and seek the blessings given through communal worship.

Chapel services are held in the Grand Lobby of the Ozinga Chapel from 10:00-10:40am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Refreshments are graciously provided by Creative Dining Services.

For more information about Chapel, please contact Joanna Wigboldy in the Chapel Office at ext. 4874.

Men's Ministry

Men's ministry seeks to minister to all the men at Trinity Christian College. All activities are designed to create an environment where guys can have fun, worship God, and talk about what is going on in the lives of the men of Trinity Christian College.

Contact Joanna Wigboldy in the Chapel office (ext 4874) for a schedule of upcoming events and the contact information for this year's leaders.

OutCry

OutCry started in a dorm room. With one guitar among them, several students gathered together for an intimate and meaningful time praising the Lord. Today, OutCry has a student team of 40 dedicated musicians and vocalists who serve the community by leading a weekly praise service of several hundred persons. Outcry is held each Thursday at 10pm in the Ozinga Chapel. The original vision remains: students gathering together to offer praise and worship to their Lord.

--Praise Team Tour Each year, a number of the OutCry leaders are selected to form a praise team that goes on tour during Interim. The praise team offers a ministry of music in a variety of settings (churches, high schools, youth groups, etc.). The tour schedule is arranged in cooperation with Trinity's office of Admissions.

Prayer Ministries

A variety of opportunities to gather for prayer are available each week at Trinity. These services of prayer vary widely from semester to semester, but usually consist of a morning prayer service (Anglican Book of Common Prayer) on Thursdays at 7am, prayers during chapel, 24 hours of prayer events, prayer gatherings in the dorms, etc. The Chaplain is always willing to pray with and for students, faculty, and staff at any time during the year.

Each week, the Chaplain hosts a time of prayer for Trinity Christian College. Please click here to submit whatever prayer concern/joys you have, and we will include these matters in our prayers too.

Please contact the Chapel Office (x4874) to inquire about prayer services currently on offer.

Sisters In Unity

Sisters In Unity is a group of women following God's call to minister to his people through dance. We are students all of different ethnicities who pursue a common goal: to praise God, enjoy His presence, and bless others through dance in worship settings. We serve both within and beyond Trinity's campus.

Service Projects

Opportunities to serve the community in various ways (Blood Drives, volunteer opportunities at local churches, with ministry organizations like Young Life, etc.,) are encouraged and scheduled with some regularity

Women's Ministry

The mission of the Women's Ministry is to build a fun-loving network of women who can be real with one another and spur each other on to keep growing in Christ. Annually, we offer a women's retreat, several small group bible studies--a time for a small group of women to come together and learn more about God's Word, and occasional large group meetings--a time where all of the women on campus can get together.
