Miriam Mindeman is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience in college counseling and sexual assault crisis counseling, offering support to survivors and significant others. She has additional training in Couples Therapy and has been a teacher in the U.S. and overseas. Miriam has great respect for the courage it takes to share your struggles with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity concerns, life transitions, cultural adjustment, loss, and trauma. She would love to collaborate with you as you seek healing, growth, and change. She is available Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. – to 4:30 p.m.
Sara Newhard is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She is committed to journeying with individuals through the pain and joys of life. Her areas of clinical interest include transition and adjustment, acculturation, communication and relationships, loss and grief, interpersonal skills, anxiety, family dynamics, self-esteem, and stress management. She is available Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Claire Urig has a master’s degree in clinical psychology and therapy from Wheaton College and is working toward her full licensure. Her previous experience was at the Community Outreach Clinic of DuPage County where she counseled clients facing a wide range of issues. She will meet with students in the Cooper Center on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Claire is a compassionate listener with an overarching love for Christ. She is able to encourage and equip college students as she guides clients through their emotional and spiritual journeys.
