PRE-PHYSICAL THERAPY

The pre-physical therapy program at Trinity allows students to prepare for entry into a graduate degree physical therapy program. Students need a major to graduate from Trinity and should choose either biology or exercise science. The allied health track of the biology major contains all of the prerequisites for most physical therapy programs. Exercise science students must take additional science and math courses to meet the prerequisites. Since physical therapy programs vary widely in their prerequisites, students will develop a program of study based on the type of program and the particular school they want to attend.
