The college committee whose work
focuses on ethnic diversity is the Ethnic Diversity Committee. This
committee is a
college committee that promotes and encourages racial understanding throughout
the institution and develops plans and goals for the recruitment of a
multicultural student body, faculty and staff. It also serves as a liaison
between the college and church agencies concerned with multicultural leadership
development. The committee monitors the progress of plans adopted by the
college with respect to goals toward such development, and submits an annual
report to the president on the progress of the approved plan. The position
of Director
of Ethnic Diversity holds a permanent seat on the committee.
