Computer Science Program
Equipping Christians for a digital world.
Daily innovations in technology demand the ability to adjust and adapt quickly and creatively. When you study computer sciences at Trinity, you will develop the skills and Christian character that allow you to thrive and make a difference in an increasingly digital world.
At Trinity, you can major in computer science and computing. We also offer degrees in bioinformatics and digital design. You can also earn minors in ccomputer science; computing; digital design; and educational technology.
With Trinity’s small class sizes, you will get hands-on learning and personal attention you can’t find at larger schools. No matter how little or how much computing experience you have had, your classes, professors, and fellow students will help you grow in knowledge and experience.
Trinity’s location just 25 miles from downtown Chicago, with its high-tech corridor of national firms and start-up software companies, offers unmatched educational and experiential computer-related opportunities. Our computer science and computing majors also gain experience through field education and paid internships. For example, many of our computer science majors have worked at Argonne National Laboratories through its cooperative education program.
The computing and computer science programs at Trinity prepare you to enter the workforce directly or pursue advanced training at graduate school. Our alumni are successful programmers, systems analysts, network administrators, web application developers, database designers and administrators, software engineers, and research specialists with major corporations, small companies, schools, and non-profit organizations.
No matter what particular career path God is leading you toward, Trinity’s programs of study in computer science and computing will equip you for your future. Click here to learn more about Trinity, our programs, and how to apply.
