Art: Faculty Position in Art (Sculpture)
Positions:
Tenure-track faculty position in sculpture, starting August 16, 2008.
Qualifications:
An MFA in sculpture required; experience in teaching and scholarship desired.
Trinity seeks candidates who are professing Christians committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Prospective faculty members should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and should be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning. They should also be committed to being involved with students in contexts beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be in sculpture. Ability to cover two or three from the following: photography, drawing, art history, or college service course.
Other duties include committee assignments, and departmental duties that rotate between supervising installations in the gallery and departmental responsibilities.
Compensation:
Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension, life insurance, and disability insurance.
