Adult Studies: Administrative/Faculty Position in Education at College of DuPage
Position:
Administrative/Faculty position in the Education Department of Adult Studies teaching and coordinating the Adult Studies Degree program at the College of DuPage site in Addison, IL. An eleven month position starting summer or fall 2010.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. preferred, Master’s Degree required. At least five years of experience in K-12 education are required. Experience in administration strengthens the application; experience in college-level teaching and scholarship desired. Trinity seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning. Faculty members are also dedicated to personal involvement with students outside the classroom in advising, social interaction, and informal academic and cultural settings.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the Adult Studies Education program at the College of DuPage: assist with marketing the program, conduct information sessions at all College of DuPage locations; record and supervise entrance requirements for the program, advise prospective and current students, contract and supervise adjunct instructors, coordinate and participate in course development, and other such duties.
Teach courses in the Adult Studies Education curriculum at the College of DuPage; teach at least one course at the Palos Heights and Chicago locations.
The coordinator reports to the Director of Adult Studies Education.

Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension, life insurance, and disability insurance.
