FACULTY POSITION IN ADULT STUDIES EDUCATION
Position:
Full-time faculty position in the Adult Studies education department starting summer or fall 2008.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. preferred, Master’s Degree required. Five years of K-12 experience required. Trinity seeks candidates who are professing Christians committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Prospective faculty members should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and should be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning. They should also be committed to being involved with students in contexts beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Teach courses in area of expertise and other general courses (e.g., General Methods) in the Adult Studies education curriculum, at the Palos Heights and the Addison College of DuPage campuses. Participate in the admissions process and advise students in the Adult Studies education program. Visit student teachers as needed. Participate in education department meetings.
Compensation:
Rank and salary commensurate with experience.
