Track and Field: Intern (Throwing Events)

Trinity Christian College is seeking an intern to be part of our track and field coaching staff for the 2009-10 academic year. The intern will be expected to work 20-25 hours per week from Sept. 15 – May 15 and assist in the areas of coaching the throwing events, designing weight training workouts and recruiting. Other duties may be assigned within the athletic department, such as game supervision or working with strength and conditioning for other sports. The intern will receive a stipend and the opportunity for reduced-cost housing in campus apartments.

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required. Competition experience on the high school and college level is also desired. Any previous coaching experience is a plus. Candidates must support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning.
