Living and Learning in
Daegu, South Korea
at Taeshin Christian University

Spend a semester in South Korea and become part of the global economy.

Living and Learning in Daegu, South Korea, is a study abroad program available to students who desire to continue their college education in an international setting. Living and Learning in Daegu functions as an exchange program with our sister institution, Taeshin Christian University. Students from Taeshin come to Trinity for a semester, and students from Trinity go to Taeshin for a semester. As such, Trinity students remain enrolled at Trinity while at Taeshin but will be subject to all the rules and regulations in force for Taeshin students.

This semester long program is designed to include a culture and language course, a field experience, and possibly two Taeshin courses taught on a tutorial basis in English. The field experience may provide Trinity students with field education/internship credit and would be with an organization, business, and/or church located in the Kyungsan/Daegu area.

Along with receiving up to 16 units of college credit, students live, learn, and grow academically, experientially, and spiritually. While living in Daegu, students will experience Korean culture by immersion, gain a global perspective, and understand in a new way the joys and the challenges of serving God in a cross-cultural setting. Students will enjoy the rich interaction with Korean students, faculty, and ministry site hosts in a classroom setting, as well as on a one-to-one level.
