Study Focus at Taeshin Christian University

• Students will take the Culture and Language of South Korea course. This course provides an overview of the culture of South Korea and an introduction to the Korean language. The course will be taught on a tutorial basis and includes guest speakers from local organizations and visits to community groups, along with lecture and readings.

• Students may also take two additional courses at Taeshin on a tutorial basis. Courses will be drawn from Taeshin’s major areas of study: Theology, Social Welfare, English Language and Literature, Early Childhood Education, Music, and Tourism English/Business. Please see the Taeshin Christian University catalog.

• Students will have a field experience at a local organization, business, and/or church. The student will be paid a small monthly stipend. While officials at Taeshin will find the field experience site, a Trinity advisor should help you decide your priorities for the field experience along with the appropriate number of hours. Credit towards a department’s major (field education/internship) is granted at the discretion of each department.
