Safety and security are the responsibility of everyone in the Trinity community. The cooperation and involvement of the students are essential.
Students must assume responsibility for their own personal safety and the security of their belongings by taking simple, common sense precautions, such as residential students locking their room or suite doors when they are not present. Not leaving money or other valuable items out in areas where others may see them and be tempted to take them. Not leaving laptops, bookbags, cellphones or iPads unattended on library tables or other public areas on campus.
Students should report suspicious looking individuals who they feel do not belong in their residence halls, or any unusual incidents in and around the residence halls to the residence life staff or the Department of Campus Safety and Security.
