Why do you love Trinity?
I enjoy the community here on Trinity’s campus: students, staff, and faculty.  It’s a great place to discover your leadership gifts and get involved.  There are plenty of opportunities to grow outside of the classroom and to receive the support you need to thrive!

What does life outside of Trinity look like for you?
I’ve been married to my wife, Patti, for 21 years, and we have 3 sons, one of whom is currently attending Trinity. I enjoy being outdoors: taking hikes, grilling, camping, and spending time with my family.  I’m a Michigan football fan and enjoy Saturdays in the fall!

What is your favorite part of Chicago?
I love being able to walk through the city, discovering new and interesting places to eat. A couple fun spots are Au Cheval for burgers and Pequod’s for deep dish pizza (with caramelized crust!).

Were you a student at Trinity?
I graduated from Trinity in 1989. During my time as a student, I was involved in the student newspaper, choir, Student Association, and “Voice of the Trolls” for the men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams. Most importantly, I studied while I was here! I majored in History and minored in Communication Arts and Political Science.
