Trinity Christian College’s Social Work Department is excited to announce their fall 2025 CEU workshop titled, Rest as Radical Care on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
Participants will be led by Karlyn Boens, MSW, a nonprofit strategist, restorative justice practitioner and lifelong learner committed to working with and supporting communities of color. Join us for an inspiring day of learning and connection as we examine the science behind rest, reflect on personal and systemic barriers to rest, and develop strategies to integrate rest into your daily lives and professional practice.
This in-person event will be held on the campus of Trinity Christian College (6601 West College Drive, Palos Heights, IL 60463) in the Administration Building, Fireside Room. Connect with fellow professionals and discover new ways to sustain well-being, creativity, and professional effectiveness through rest.
