Katie Broyles is a bassoonist and music educator from Dayton, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s in music education from Wright State University and currently attends the Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts completing a master’s degree in bassoon performance. She currently plays principal bassoon in the Oak Park River Forest Symphony and freelances around the Chicago area. In her spare time, when she’s not making bassoon reeds, Broyles enjoys searching for new coffee shops and biking.

Prof. Broyles, who joined Trinity’s faculty in 2017, teaches bassoon lessons.
