Nursing

Preparing academically and clinically excellent professional nurses for Christ-like service.

Operating from the common nursing frameworks of caring, self-care, and care management, Trinity prepares generalists at the baccalaureate level for beginning practice in all areas of clinical nursing.

Trinity’s proximity to Chicago and the suburbs allow for clinical portions of the program to be held in area hospitals, intermediate care and rehabilitation facilities, community health agencies, home health agencies, schools, and clinics.

The Cynthia Sander Nursing Lab includes high-tech simulation labs that provide students with high-fidelity manikins that exhibit any symptom and automatically respond to intervention.

Professor Laurel Quinn, Ph.D., on the journey of her nursing students

“Seeing the students begin their nursing career and seeing where their own personal journeys lead them in the nursing profession is what satisfies me the most.”
