Athletics Department Announces Honor Roll (07/18/08)
More than 50 student-athletes from Trinity Christian
College have been named to the inaugural Athletics Department Honor Roll for
their performance in the classroom during the spring semester of 2008. The Athletics Department Honor Roll includes
student-athletes who posted a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 for the
semester, with High Honors going to those with at least a 3.75 GPA.
Huisman Named Head
Baseball Coach (7/9/08)
The
athletics department at Trinity Christian College has announced that Jason
Huisman will be the new head coach for the baseball program. Huisman, who assumes
his duties in July, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position.
Zielke
Gives Her Best at NAIA Championships (5/24/08)
Erin Zielke ran her best
performance of the season in 1500 meter at the NAIA National Track and Field
Championships held in Edwardsville, Illinois on May 22-24. Zielke, the lone
national qualify for Trinity, finished with ninth place with a time of 4:40.57,
a three second improvement over her previous school record time.

Presents Top Honors (5/7/08)
Trinity’s
athletics department wrapped up the 2007-08 sports calendar with an all-athlete
picnic and award ceremony. At the gathering a number of special awards are
given to selected individuals who have made significant contributions to
Trinity both in and out of the playing arena.
