Athletics Department Presents Top Honors (5/7/08)
Trinity’s athletics department wrapped up the 2007-08 sports calendar with an all-athlete picnic and award ceremony. At the gathering a number of special awards are given to selected individuals who have made significant contributions to Trinity both in and out of the playing arena.

Track and Field Competes at NCCAA Nationals  (5/3/08)
The track and field team had the best overall team performance at the NCCAA National Championships held at Indiana Wesleyan University (IN) in the program’s history. Overall the team placed in 13 events with the women scoring 36 points for a 7th place finish and the men taking 11th place with eight points.
 
Baseball Loses Two in Conference Tournament (5/1/08)
The Trolls could not extend their season as they were eliminated from the conference tournament with two losses. The team lost the first game, 5-8, to Purdue University-North Central and then dropped a 1-3 decision to Olivet Nazarene University. Trinity ended the season with a 14-20 overall record.

Baseball To Compete in CCAC Tournament  (4/28/08)
The baseball team will participate in the CCAC Tournament hosted by Purdue University-North Central on May 1-2. The No. 6 Trolls will face No. 3 Purdue-North Central at 10:00 am on Thursday in their first game of the double-elimination tournament.

Baseball Stays in Conference Hunt  (4/26/08)
With split results at Cardinal Stritch University, the Trolls remain in the top six teams in the conference. Trinity won the first game, 9-0, and then lost the second one, 5-9. They end their regular season with a 14-18 overall and 9-11 conference record.

Softball Ends Season with Losses (4/26/08)
The Trolls did not get the ending to their season that they wanted as they were shutout, 0-11 and 0-15, of both games of a double-header against Saint Xavier University. The team ended their season with a final overall record of 6-23 and a conference record of 4-14.

Track and Field Storms Concordia Meet   (4/25/08)
Battling the competition and stormy weather, the track and field teams made the most of their performances at the Cougar Invitational at Concordia University. Even with a few events not completed because of threatening weather, the Trinity’s women’s team capture first place and the men took fourth.
