BiologyDr. Olubunmi Oyekunle joined the Department of Biology at Trinity Christian College in 2025 as an Assistant Professor in Anatomy and Physiology.
His previous Faculty positions were at the College of Health Sciences, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria (Full-term), and Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa (Adjunct). Overall, Dr. Oyekunle has over 16 years of teaching and research experience.
Research Interests:
Hitherto, his research has focused on investigating the effects of botanical formulations under different physiological conditions, which has led to many publications in peer-reviewed journals. New areas of interest include the crosstalk between dermatological and neurological diseases.
When he’s not teaching:
Olubunmi enjoys spending quality time with his family, fostering Christian values and principles, and enjoying active leisure and wellness through activities such as tennis and cycling.
