If you have a passion for recreation and sports and want to share that with others, a B.S. from Trinity may be for you. This degree is geared towards those who feel called to become recreation directors, managers or administrators in the areas of recreation, park districts, YMCAs, Boys and Girls Clubs, private, and other sport-related organizations.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be a 26 percent increase in coaching and scouting jobs through 2030 and a 16 percent increase in recreation workers through 2030.
The recreation and sport management degree will encompass courses in physical education; business; accounting, communication art; and computer science. This degree will prepare students to be strong, diverse, and Christian leaders in the world of recreation and sport management.

The global community needs business people with a Christian perspective. And Trinity’s business program Connects to Greater by empowering you to discern, develop, and deploy your gifts and calling. When you receive a bachelor of art degree in business education, you will have a wide-ranging foundation of core business principles like accounting, economics, organizational behavior, and marketing, as well as a minor in secondary education.
Since Trinity is located just 25 miles from downtown Chicago, you will study in one of the country’s major financial centers, home to Fortune 500 companies and startups alike.
Business education majors are eligible for an Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in business, marketing, and computer education at the secondary (grades 6-12) level.
