OPUS, Trinity’s annual festival of student scholarship, is taking place on Wednesday, April 20. The word “opus” is Latin for work. Whether it’s the arts and humanities, natural and applied sciences, or social sciences, students from all disciplines can present their work or attend this annual celebratory conference.

Welcome to the first ever edition of Trinity’s Education Department Newsletter. We are excited about this debut and thankful to the faculty and staff who made this possible.

Antos Named Among Yamaha’s 40 under 40 Educators
For the second year in a row, Yamaha has named 40 exceptional music educators under the age of 40 who possess action, courage, creativity, and growth. And Trinity’s own Prof. Justin Antos, Ph.D., has been named to this selective group.

Congratulations to Fall 2021 Dean’s List Students
The Dean’s List is Trinity Christian College’s highest academic honor. Congratulations to all our undergraduate students who met this distinction for the Fall 2021 semester.

Special Education Program Recognized as a Best Value
Recently, College Factual ranked Trinity’s special education program as a “Best Value” college for 2022.

U.S. News Names Trinity a Top 20 School
The life-changing value of a Trinity education has once again been recognized by U.S. New and World Report, which named Trinity to several of its “best” lists for 2022, including among the Top 20 Regional Colleges Midwest and #15 for social mobility.

Trinity’s Special Education Programs Recognized as Top 10 Value
The College is particularly pleased to see the value of our undergraduate and graduate degrees in special education recognized by Grad Degree Search, including among the Top 10 in the Great Lakes Region.

Education Program Honored by Colleges of Distinction
Trinity education majors leave the College confident in what they believe and possess the skills and experience necessary to excel in their field for good, according to Colleges of Distinction. The organization has once again recognized Trinity’s education program, among numerous categories.

Kimberly Mueller ’19 Fulfills Dream of Becoming Teacher
For Kimberly Mueller ’19, the support of her husband and her faith in God helped her achieve her goal of graduating from Trinity’s Adult Programs with a bachelor’s degree in art education on Dec. 14 and begin a teaching job a month after graduation.

Trinity Celebrates 100% edTPA Pass Rate
Trinity is proud to announce a 100% pass rate for all traditional undergraduate and Adult Studies teacher candidates who submitted the edTPA (Teacher Performance Assessment) to Pearson Testing Co. in the fall 2015 and spring 2016!
