Trinity’s major in environmental science provides opportunities for students to explore the interactions of the natural world through study and investigation, providing the foundation for Christian earth keeping.
Trinity students enhance their classroom studies with off-campus opportunities at world-class institutions such as Morton Arboretum, Shedd Aquarium, and Au Sable Institute for Environmental Studies.
After graduation, students who follow the Environmental and Ecological track:
- Pursue ecological careers in the area of environmental justice, natural resource management, lab, and outdoor research, and government policy advisement.
- Enter graduate school to pursue ecological post-graduate studies.

Trinity offers the perfect environment for you to prepare for a career in environmental science. Courses are taught from a Christian perspective. This gives students the space to grow as young adults while also growing in their faith and spirituality. Students can choose to attend chapel services on campus twice each week, in addition to participating in Outcry, our student-led worship services.
Academics are important, but so is “down time.” Social and entertainment opportunities abound in our tightly knit campus community, with dozens of student clubs and organizations and an events calendar packed with fun.
