Teaching at Trinity allows Prof. Lauren Ryba to combine her passions of teaching and math and allows her to pass that passion to the next generation of teachers. “I know I will have students who don’t like math. After my class, I hope that they see that everyone can learn and be successful in math and that there is more than one way to reach the answer.”
Ryba has also been able to show her elementary-school age son that the methods he is using are the same ones she teaches. “This class helps keep me up to date with current strategies that my children are experiencing.”
