The global community needs skilled people with a passion for music in worship. The music department at Trinity will prepare you to be a skilled performer of music, a discriminating listener, and an inspiring leader. If you are called to participate in music ministry at your local church, then this interdisciplinary minor may be for you. Your coursework will emphasize diverse traditions of music in worship from both a theological and musical perspective, with a focus on encouraging and facilitating practical involvement. In addition to your music and theology courses, you will achieve proficiency in either piano or guitar.
Earn your minor from Trinity
If you are called to help athletes become their best both on and off the field, then you may want to consider a minor in coaching. This minor will allow you to bring a Christian perspective of physical activity and stewardship of the body that enables lifelong service to the Kingdom of God.
Your coursework will include biology, human anatomy and physiology, and studies into the physical and psychological aspects of sports.

Most seminaries require a strong liberal arts education and a background in Greek and a modern foreign language. As a pre-seminary studies student, you will select a major in one or more of the following areas of study: history, English, philosophy, communication arts, or psychology. {we don’t offer a sociology major, just a minor} It is also important that you give serious attention to language studies. Regardless of which major you choose, you will leave with a strong understanding of Greek as well as a modern foreign language.
