Graduates with a Health Comm degree can find careers in hospital administration, human resources, public health, marketing, and pharmaceutical sales, among many other areas, as well as continuing their studies in graduate school.

In the tradition of Trinity’s interdisciplinary liberal arts, Health Comm majors take courses that span communication arts, nursing, physical education, and science. If you have a passion for the world of business and communication, a degree from Trinity will set you on the right path. With a degree in business communication, you will be prepared to work across the dimensions of profit and non-profit organizations of all sizes. Your coursework will blend principles and skills from business, communication, and computer science.

Along with communication courses, you will also take courses in management and marketing, organizational behaviour, economics, and web design.

Our program seeks to integrate the concerns of engaged citizenship and biblical faithfulness. We strive to navigate the biblical tension of being in but not of the world. Conversations in and out of class emphasize ways to be both critical and contributive in public life, in the marketplace, and in the worshipping life of various faith communities. Communication students from our program are thoughtful contributors to society and engaged practitioners for the Kingdom of God.
