Becky Dean

Area Director of South/West Halls

in pursuit of a Masters of Science in Leadership from Golden Gate University

As the Area Director for South and West Halls, Becky loves to provide students with opportunities for connection, conversation, growth, and fun as they live together in community. In addition to overseeing the SouthWest RA team, Becky works collaboratively to lead, develop, and oversee a residence life program that actively contributes to the Student Life purpose and outcomes.

Before coming to Trinity in 2018, Becky served in residence life and student engagement at a small Christian college in North Carolina. Becky also taught Pre-K and 3rd grade in Chicago private and public schools, and works to infuse her formal training in education into her work at Trinity. “As a Trinity graduate myself, it’s an honor to give back to a community that shaped me so profoundly. I love the personal relationships I get to invest in through my work at Trinity, and especially love guiding RAs through leadership development and students through opportunities for growth.”

“My favorite Trinity traditions include Trollstock, the annual talent show hosted by Student Activities (which I also happened to win with my roommates as a student!) and linking hands while singing “My Friends May You Grow in Grace” as a Trinity community.”

Outside of Trinity, Becky loves photography and owns a Chicago wedding photography business. She loves spending time with her niece and nephews locally, and traveling to spend time with her Idaho family each year. If she’s not around campus, you’re most likely to find her at the beach or browsing a local bookstore. Becky lives with her husband, who is also Trinity’s Graphic Design Professor, Kaleb Dean, on campus in West Hall.
