Coté Soerens

Director of Tuition Transparency & Access

Coté Soerens  joins Trinity as Director of Tuition Transparency and Access.  In this role, Coté will work to create new and expanded external partnerships, philanthropic relationships, and network connections which organize and energize people and organizations that are motivated to solve the challenges of student debt.

Coté will initially have office space and close collaboration with the Advancement Team on the lower level of the Administration Building and her work will put her in contact with many across campus.

Coté comes to Trinity with a compelling history of leading and guiding important social change designed for the flourishing of communities. She founded and led a nonprofit, Puentes, designed to address mental health needs within the immigrant community. She founded Resistencia Coffee, a neighborhood hub for community development in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle. She served as a community developer to coordinate the philanthropy and logistics to purchase a series of buildings in that same neighborhood to help create community-centric space. And, most recently, she brought together a team for Reconnect South Park – an effort that led to the decommissioning of a Seattle highway that had divided a neighborhood.
