Director of Physical Plant
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
My role involves overseeing the library operations through managing the budget and providing leadership. I really enjoy connecting with external library partners and ensuring our faculty and students feel supported in their research needs. My tasks each day are varied, but they all point towards helping our users become lifelong learners.
What do you do when you aren’t working?
Beyond spending time with my wife and three kids, I enjoy playing piano and trombone, watching all types of sports, playing golf, and doing Sudoku or logic puzzles.
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
My office is behind the library’s front desk, and I supervise all circulation and interlibrary loan processes. I also order new books and materials for the library’s collection. I enjoy helping students, staff, and faculty discover library resources, and I appreciate learning from the Trinity community – every day is something new!
What do you do when you aren’t working?
Quilting started as a quarantine hobby, but on most weekends, you can find me working on projects for family and friends while listening to an audiobook or podcast. I also enjoy reading (I am a librarian, after all!).
