Student Interns and Mentors

Thrive is dedicated to helping brand new Trolls transition to the College and learn about everything Trinity has to offer. Student leaders working with Thrive will help new students take full advantage of the academic, social, spiritual, and volunteer opportunities here on campus, across the Chicago area, and around the world.

Thrive for freshmen and for transfers are the signature programs for new students beginning at Trinity Christian College. These programs are Foundations courses designed to welcome and introduce students to the Christ-centered academic community at Trinity. We are looking for students who will be able to teach, assist, empower, support, and challenge new students.

These are the leadership positions offered for Thrive:

Thrive Student Interns

The interns provide administrative support and oversight to the Thrive programs to ensure that they run effectively and efficiently.  Student interns will have some contact with new students and parents to communicate information in advance of their arrival; student interns will also work closely with the Thrive with regard to planning mentor training and Thrive programming.

Thrive Student Mentor

Thrive student mentors serve in the crucial role of welcoming students to Trinity! Student mentors are paired with faculty mentors to co-facilitate the Thrive course and mentor first year students throughout their first semester.
