Matthew Meyrick ’19 serves as worship coordinator for Trinity’s chapel and Outcry ministries.
Matt began leading worship as a student at Trinity for chapel and Outcry services. After graduation in 2019, Matt took a call to serve as a worship leader and media coordinator at Calvary Church of Oak Lawn. Through his work at Calvary, Matt discerned that his passions and skills could align well with pastoral ministry. In August 2022, Matt started the Master of Divinity program through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He plans to finish the program by 2026 and hopes to re-enter the local ministry full-time.
Matt is an avid Chicago sports fan, alternative rock concertgoer, and cool sneaker wearer. Matt married Hannah (Slager) Meyrick ’19 in June 2021, and they now live in nearby Chicago Ridge, IL. They enjoy getting active through community soccer, pickleball, tennis, and music.
