Trinity has been a part of the lives of Sydney Winters’ family for many years and has blessed them with so much. It was only right for her to be a part of Trinity as well as enjoy all that it has to offer and in return, to give all that she has to offer. What she loves about working at Trinity is the tight-knit connection that everyone has with one another on campus. Winters truly feels welcomed and appreciated.
A typical day for Winters would be reviewing data from students’ FAFSA applications, assisting students in their scholarship search, and connecting students with scholarship opportunities. It is a rewarding experience for her to help students find a way to follow their collegiate dream.
Before Trinity, she worked with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission as a near-peer mentor for the surrounding high schools and community college in her area. She helped many students from various backgrounds in making college possible and navigating them through the college-going process.
When Winters is not at Trinity, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, traveling to new places, going to the gym, and lots of shopping!
