2019-2020 Alumni Board

The Alumni Board works closely with the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement to represent and promote the College in a positive and enthusiastic manner, support and develop the spirit of Trinity Christian College; and extend the news of the College to a greater public. The board is comprised of 12 to 15 members who are taking an active role in Trinity’s future, acting as the bridge between alumni and the College.

NOMINATIONS

The alumni office is always seeking nominees to fill positions on the Alumni Board of Directors. The College seeks to find a diverse group on the board from all ages, geographic locations, and backgrounds. The only requirement is that the nominee by a Trinity alum. This is a volunteer position with a three-year, renewable term, and attendance at the two yearly meetings is required (travel expenses are reimbursable).

Alumni of the Year

Each year, the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement seeks to recognize members of the Trinity community who have made a significant contribution to the field of their endeavor, and have been recognized by their associates for outstanding achievements. Each recipient has remained connected to the College and demonstrates a Christian commitment that reflects on the College’s mission.

The College is currently accepting nominations for the 2019 Awards.   Nominations will be accepted until September 30, 2019.

Nomination Process

  • Nominations can be submitted online using this nomination form.
  • If you have questions, please contact the Office of Alumni and Family Engagement at alumni@trnty.edu or 708.239.4854.
  • All nominations will be considered, with the winner determined by the Trinity Alumni Board.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Has made a significant contribution to their field of endeavor.
  2. Are recognized by their associates for outstanding achievements through vocation or volunteerism.
  3. Manifests a Christian commitment that glorifies God and reflects on the mission of Trinity Christian College.
  4. Has maintained a connection to the College through time, talent, or resources.
  5. All Trinity alumni are eligible for the award. Alumni are defined as students who achieved a minimum of 24 credit hours at Trinity. (approximately 1 year)

 

Outstanding Young Alumni

The Outstanding Young Alumni award is given to a recent Trinity graduate who is an emerging professional or community stand-out, embodying the spirit of Trinity.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrates potential as an emerging leader in their field.
  2. Manifests a Christian commitment that glorifies God and reflects on the mission of Trinity Christian College.
  3. Has graduated in the past 1-10 years.

 

Faithful Servant

The Faithful Servant Award is given to a Trinity alum who has consistently sought opportunities to serve, donating time or talents to further God’s work in the world.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Has consistently sought opportunities to serve, donating time or talents to further God’s work in the world
  2. Manifests a Christian commitment that glorifies God and reflects on the mission of Trinity Christian College.
  3. All Trinity alumni are eligible for the award. Alumni are defined as students who achieved a minimum of 24 credit hours at Trinity. (approximately 1 year)

Trinity Alumni Theatre is sponsored in part by the Communication Arts Department at Trinity Christian College and by the Theatre Alumni Board. In addition to our flagship summer theater production, Trinity Alumni Theatre can be seen hosting improv shows and proudly supporting the undergraduate theatre community at Trinity.

Trinity Athletics Club is an easy way for alumni, parents, and friends of the College to rally around student-athletes who are using their talents to promote Trinity.
